Building a BBQ House
Jesper ordered a new BBQ grill that arrived in a BIG box. Charlotte and I took one look at the box, turned to each other, and said "wow, that would really make a great play house!"
so while the guys put together the grill (BOR-RING!)
the rest of us worked on building a "house"
Line supervised Thilde coloring the exterior
Farmor taped on the chimney
Thilde tested out the window shutters
And Axel hosted the first housewarming party
Overall a very productive and fun afternoon for all . . .

The Big Airplane
We flew to Denmark yesterday, and even though Axel has been on several overseas flights, this time was WAY different because he was old enough to get excited about riding the big airplane.
The first 11 hour flight to London was a breeze, because Axel was just so happy to be on an airplane and watching the in-flight movies.
Here Axel is playing by the window with his little toy airplane, as you see it never leaves his hands
At our layover in London it was an extra bonus to ride a TRAIN to the other terminal
According to Axel the reason we needed a second plane was was because the first one was tired and needed to sleep and get food. As he pointed out, some of the planes at the airport were sleeping, while others, like ours, were ready to go up in the sky.

All Dressed Up
Today we went to a baby naming ceremony (kind of like a baptism for Jewish culture) and Axel got all dressed up with one of his best friends Hazel.
He couldn't make it through the ceremony so instead we played "photo shoot" outside on the playground:

Happy Father's Day to You
We decided to celebrate Father's Day with key lime pie. Axel knows exactly what to do with cake - put a candle on it and sing . . .
